It was a fantastic day with friends to be. A perfect way to get to know people. You could walk by yourself or entangled in a very vivid discussion about the big bang/creation. We could all enjoy it on our own terms. A magnificient day that everyone deserved to experience.

Our base is a lodge at Badaguish. It is set in the stunning landscape of the Cairngorm National Park, in the Highlands of Scotland.
Badaguish is 5 miles from the south end of Aviemore (just off the main A9 Perth to Inverness road).
The lodge is warm and roomy - think of an up-market hostel – with large dining room, kitchen and lounge, and, as you would expect, wonderful views. It can accommodate up to 17 people. Rooms sleep one, two, or four people in a mixture of single beds and bunks – most are en suite.
MealsMeals provided are wholesome and plentiful using the best local produce to satisfy hungry outdoors people!
Daily direct services connect Aviemore with Inverness, Glasgow and Edinburgh, with onward connections to all major UK cities.
Several bus services run daily services to Aviemore and the Cairngorms.
To Badaguish
There is a public bus running every hour to Glenmore from Aviemore from where a pick up would be arranged. Alternatively a pick up from Aviemore is possible.

Finding Badaguish from Aviemore:Take the road at the south end of the village signposted for Cairngorm and Loch Morlich and continue for 5 miles. Badaguish is signposted on the left before Loch Morlich. Turn at the signs and carry straight on up the forest road through the trees for 1 mile. Badaguish is set in a clearing, and the whole site is totally surrounded by wonderful forest flanked by the mountains.
